First weekend

woke at 10am feeling pretty good despite getting mangled on booze at the party. I remembered that after we left the party and went to a bar that we went back to the party but it was dead, and after some booze robbing decided to head home. I went the few steps into work and hung around til 2pm so i could ring a guy about a room. It had gone but i still had to be pro-active about it.

I hopped on the newly fixed work bike and decided to get out and see the city. Since i arrived on Tuesday i have barely seen anything. Couple of roads around work where I have done runs to and thats about it. I set off to go see some clothes shops Noelle had told me about and also to go to a market out on the West Canals. I had a great time chilling on my own and riding about like a local. i also for he first time went to the red light district as after all this time I had still never been there. Full of idiot tourists and gangsters. I doubt I'll be going back there.

On my travels I did pass a Dutch wedding where a man in a boat was whizzing around and playing Dutch folks songs to the wedding entourage who were all singing along. Its kinda hard to describe really so here is the video I took of it.



I came back around 6pm to get washed and met Mike Wolfe my partner in crime and neighbour. We met Hannah and Katie and headed to a bar up in the centre to meet everyone before dinner. Went to a really posh restaurant with everyone from work, spent way too much money and then ended up in a bar till 2am. After this Billie, Hannah, Katie and me went to a club that Noelle was at and partied til 6am. I finally got to sleep around 7.30 and as such felt like shit all day Sunday. I remieded this on Sunday by finding some awesome record stores, finding an incredible veggie restaurant out on the Jordaan and will now be eating some shit and watching a film in bed.
