September

So it feels as though the summer that never really began has finally ended. I absolutely destroyed myself over the bank holiday weekend and feel that was possibly the last blast of the summer. My first Notting Hill was great success, as was hanging with Pulling Teeth who i hold a lot of Love for. Its odd to think how many hours of my life I have spent with those guys and they are also the band I have seen the most. Easily over 40-50 times!!

So I have decided to attempt to Ostracize myself from much social occuring's over the month of September for reasons that are threefold.
1) I need to save some money
2) I need to write music
3) I'm cutting down on drinking whilst i am poor.

Starting a new band, or even the ideas of starting a new band, is very similar to relationships! You get excited about the prospects, the thoughts of what could happen, what may occur, what you could create, what you could achieve, you put a lot of yourself into it and also you get to spend some time with like minded people. I have many ideas for bands right now, but two are at the forefront of my mind and I don't want them to stay that way. In my mind that is. On watching the Abandon ship last gig with Bryony last night she kinda convinced me that i need to do another hardcore band again and I think i do. It's all about finding the right people for the project though!

Apparently the format may not have split up and might be doing something together again. I can only hope they do
