Roadburn.....

So I got an email last week from Khaled asking me if I wanted to go to the Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, Netherlands this week as someone had dropped out. I got myself two days off work, Paypal'd the dude the money and now I am all set.

The line up, well of bands I have heard of is:
Down, Capricorns, Taint, Witchcraft, Gentleman's Pistols, Trouble, Isis, Witch, Cephalic Carnage, Jesu, Boris, Cult Of Luna, and Enslaved.

There are a load of bands I have no clue about which should make for an interesting time. Khaled, JoshStout, Mattybar, Mugsey, and Tubs should be in the Netherlands about now and are staying in a hostel round the corner from my work. For the festival we are staying in a Safari Park about 10 minutes from the venue. I know people got their tickets in December for this, but for me this is a pretty new thing. Dearlove is also playing bass for Capricorns tomorrow night just before Down so it will be awesome to see him as well. I have no real clue what to expect from this thing other than Iwill more than likely be a bit of a wreck come Sunday morning. Three day weeks are most definitely the way forward!
